Yes I went to Washington… lots of museums…beautiful architecture… however, not the most stimulating place that I have ever been too. A few things I did enjoy were the lovely art museum, which housed a piece of blue tube string which was a couple of meters long and wide it was such a strange and foreign sensation to walk through it. I did have some down time to read Just Kids by Patti Smith and also watch the whole Beatles anthology again so in other words Washington was a holiday; however, It was a lovely journey home. I made friends with an Australian man called Josh who wore a NYC cap and was as overjoyed as I was to board the flight to our cold country, which was calling me and most likely him with open arms. Here are a few images from the trip, I start back at uni again tomorrow! I cant work out if I am nervous or excited. It will be lovely to walk around the cold foggy city again.

Us and Them
So New York is treating Samuel and I very nicely, from the subways, which feels like your in a sauna, to the buskers that seem to do the strangest things to capture your attention and of course your money. I really am having a great time! Sam and I have ventured to the broadway to the circus, to a few band things in Brooklyn, some drunken lunches followed by a lot of giggles on the subway! Well today Sam and i went to the hells kitchen market where i found this amazing stall, the owner of the stall was also the owner of some amazing things !! I will post some photos up of the little goodies I found there in my next post!
Below are a few photos taken within two days probably about four days ago hehe ! So there are many photos to come ! The cat photo below was taken in a nice little record store on Bleeker street (the street that Bob Dylan got famous on,) Sam brought a million records, my favourite was the sounds of the Budos band. There was a sneaky coronas incident in central park one morning.. and I did have a lot of difficulty getting up that tree in the photo below.. Sam finally found a hat that suited him, it was an amazing moment. Below there is also a bearded man in Washington square park listening to some jazz buskers. There is a fairest wheel in Coney Island... Sam and I happened to go on it...and not long after we ventured to a high thrill ride, which consisted of me giggling and screaming hysterically.. Sam hasn't looked at me the same since. Yes there is also a couple selfie.. guilty as charged. There are a couple of photos of Shea stadium which we went to last night for the second time to see Woodsman, for once the night consisted of me looking after a very talkative and drunken Samuel. There is Sam hailing a cab whilst eating a strawberry, him walking through Williamsburg in Brooklyn, him in a music store in Greenwhich, drinking some thai beer... a litttle box that our check came in.. what was inside it was not as pretty but the box did cushion our fall.
Well i will stop rambling !! I will post some photos of the last couple days in the next couple days hehe ! It feels so good to be doing another post !! I hope you enjoy xx

The Spread of the News
Ohh wow. After a long and grueling flight I finally arrived at the Best Western President hotel on Times Square! It is so nice to be back with Sam and being in NYC just tops it all off with a nice big cherry! Here are a few photos of the last two days! My camera filled up very quickly, I couldn't help but take photos of everything... especially Sam. I woke up the next morning at like 6 and Sam was dead to the world so i took a stroll around Times Square and some of the backstreets... I was gone for 4 hours! One of my favorite things we have done so far was go to a small cafe in Soho that served a mixture of Pan-Asian foods. We shared salmon and a curry and drank Coronas and lime... it was really lovely! After that, we walked around the shops feeling a little drunk.. this feeling wore off so quickly due to our rapid sweating on the hot streets of New York. Later on I met Sam's uni friends that were on the tour with him. Nick is staying at the Empire Hotel and we drank $16 watermelon cocktail things.. its okay though, we are on holiday?
So yes here are a few photos! I will keep on posting! Sam and I are currently working up the courage to once again...use fake ID's.. I thought those days were over; however the nervous feeling is just as I remembered... horrible yet quiet thrilling. I am really rambling now! I hope you enjoyed my rambles and the photos below!

Beneath the Green
Well, today was an exceptionally wonderful day of fun filled activities! Claire and I had a blast taking these wonderful photographs bellow. It is safe to say that we are both almost fluent at rapping about trees, yes rapping! I am so overjoyed at how these images turned out, I really love all the nature and how the colours all came together and created this beautiful sight for my sore and tired eyes. I hope they work like eye drops for you.
P.s The next time I will write will be from the amazing NEW YORK CITY !!! GAHH I'm so excited... I have been singing the beach boys "good vibrations" in my car... Its the only way I feel I can express how excited I really am.
