The Spread of the News

Ohh wow. After a long and grueling flight I finally arrived at the Best Western President hotel on Times Square! It is so nice to be back with Sam and being in NYC just tops it all off with a nice big cherry! Here are a few photos of the last two days! My camera filled up very quickly, I couldn't help but take photos of everything... especially Sam. I woke up the next morning at like 6 and Sam was dead to the world so i took a stroll around Times Square and some of the backstreets... I was gone for 4 hours! One of my favorite things we have done so far was go to a small cafe in Soho that served a mixture of Pan-Asian foods. We shared salmon and a curry and drank Coronas and lime... it was really lovely! After that, we walked around the shops feeling a little drunk.. this feeling wore off so quickly due to our rapid sweating on the hot streets of New York. Later on I met Sam's uni friends that were on the tour with him. Nick is staying at the Empire Hotel and we drank $16 watermelon cocktail things.. its okay though, we are on holiday?
So yes here are a few photos! I will keep on posting! Sam and I are currently working up the courage to once again...use fake ID's.. I thought those days were over; however the nervous feeling is just as I remembered... horrible yet quiet thrilling. I am really rambling now! I hope you enjoyed my rambles and the photos below!

Beneath the Green

Well, today was an exceptionally wonderful day of fun filled activities! Claire and I had a blast taking these wonderful photographs bellow. It is safe to say that we are both almost fluent at rapping about trees, yes rapping! I am so overjoyed at how these images turned out, I really love all the nature and how the colours all came together and created this beautiful sight for my sore and tired eyes. I hope they work like eye drops for you.

P.s The next time I will write will be from the amazing NEW YORK CITY !!! GAHH I'm so excited... I have been singing the beach boys "good vibrations" in my car... Its the only way I feel I can express how excited I really am.

A Touch of Ali

Okay! So. The morning is creeping closer that will have me waking up to a 3am alarm to catch a plane all the way to New York... well I will have to make a few stops along the way but I will get there eventually! It has been very hectic getting everything together and of course.. I just began to get the flu. So i have joined the rest of Australia in their coughs and splutters and I will bring an Australian cold all the way to New York. Ours truly. I am hoping and praying that i am better for the flight. If I am not then i will have to bring the beauty essentials from paw paw to Panadol. Any handy tips?

Since my last short and brief post i now have to refrain from smiling during my normal day to day activities... when I'm running, sitting in my car...eating?! The reason for this spur of happiness is that I am leaving for New York in 8 days !!!! I am unbelievably excited, I am meeting my boyfriend Samuel over there who is on a graphic design study tour for his uni. So keep your eyes peeled for the amazing documentation that will be coming straight to you very soon!

Being as him and I are inseparable 99% of the time... i have been finding things to keep myself busy. Which unfortunately involves not studying!! I have been searching for inspiration everywhere and I have come to terms with the idea that the best inspiration of all is peoples smiles, which I have noticed are so rare. Or perhaps inspiration a.k.a smiles aren't rare, maybe we just aren't looking close enough.

So. I am very excited to share with you these lovely images that i took of my dear and beautiful friend Maddi ! Her fabulous style, smile and swagger blew me away! She really is amazing, so to prove it to you, here are a few images of her in a 90's dress that i picked up from the salvos for $5!!! I hope you enjoy the photos, the dress and of course Maddi!

"and don't you know that its just you, hey Jude you''ll do, the movement you need is on your shoulder." So yes tears were brought to my eyes and i did a little dance in the kitchen later on in the day after taking a few of these amazing photos of the amazing Maddi in this amazing 90's dress !!!

Sunrise

Here are a few images that inspired me on this lazy friday afternoon. Yes i was meant to be studying. I feel as though i say this a little too much of the late. SO i hope you enjoy my procrastination. What captured my attention today was pink hair, romance was born silk overthrow, lip colours, pink metallic and fish net stockings !
